So, my good friend, Michelle tells me that we're going to have a spa day.....What do you think I said.....UhhhhYeah!!! woohoo!

I arrange for my husband to meet me in Newington so we can switch cars and he's running late which in turn makes me run late. So by the time I pull into the spa parking lot (yes they have their own parking lot in Portsmouth!!!) I was rushing and feeling so tense because I may have been holding someone up.

I'm listening to one of those stories that come in the Wendy's kids meal- they're stories of The Magic TreeHouse. Actually, I'm not listening to the story, I can just hear it coming out of my boy's room. These stories are pretty cute and they start off by explaining that they are "the adventures of Jack and Annie".

So, I feel like around here, the adventures of Jack and Brian are the only way to describe how we make our way through the days.....

We were at the lake the other day and my oldest, Jack, finds a rock in the water. It wasn't really a rock- it was asphalt. He was so excited to find this asphalt.

He started calling it his "lucky asphalt" . He didn't want anyone touching it or playing with it- it was ridiculous. Yet it was funny because it was his "lucky asphalt"

That's all i got. Lucky asphalt.

So, I was talking to my Mom last night and she said that I have got to write down what happens on a daily basis around my house. I'm not sure whether she wanted to have proof for when she calls DSS or whether she just thought that someone could be filming this stuff and I could be making money!!!!

So what prompted this was that I had told her that there have been a few days that I've just been beside myself with what to do about my boy's behavior......mainly Jack's.
